GriefShare is a weekly video seminar featuring some of the nation’s foremost experts on grief recovery topics. Each seminar is combined with a small group discussion time to allow group participants to talk about the content of the seminar and about how they are dealing with the death of their loved one.
The study takes 13 weeks and you can join at any time.
Our meetings are both in person and virtual (through Zoom) so you can join from anywhere.
GriefShare Leaders: Jon Graham & Jill Hames-Graham
Jon is our worship leader and web/tech director. Jill sings on the worship team. Together they have formed a non-profit for the grieving called LivingSeven. Jill’s grief story started when she was 7 and her brother was killed in a car accident. When she was 21, her father died of heart failure. When she was 42, her mother died of pulmonary fibrosis. Jon has been in ministry and has counselled the grieving for decades. He is also the video producer for the Georgia Baptist Mission Board (since 2007). Jill is pursuing her Masters Degree in Social Work with an emphasis on Clinical Therapy. Together, they are called to help the hurting.
There is a $20 cost for the workbook (1 per participant). If that is a hardship, scholarships are available. Please let us know.
Our next class will begin in early Fall 2023. If you’d like to receive more information, text the word GRIEF to 770.809.3242
